when I said we can’t be and not be, it was my feeble attempt to communicate that realization
it felt in the brief moments leading up to it like things were coming back together, opposites were combining into fewer and fewer things, streaming upward into one being, unbranching and unentangling reality until only two things were left, being and not
It gave me a glimpse of what it means to be one with all things, and as such, what it means to be a part of an eternal, unchanging process
in realizing this I understood that instead of this, not existing, we chose to forget that
so we could be
then everything splintered back off
